It’s been rather tough to be working these days. With my son at home and my two nephews, I had very little time to concentrate on difficult and time-taking projects. But I’m not complaining, I love having a house full of children, family and friends. But I did my best not to give up my challenge. A winner never quits, a quitter never wins. And it’s always fun to play with the clay extruder!
Materials and tools used: Black professional polymer clay, pasta machine, clay extruder, liquid Fimo, a blade, black alcohol ink and pearls.
I have prepared the polymer clay and rolled it through the pasta machine. I have used the clay extruded to make some polymer clay ropes. I have used the 12 holes disc.
I have used some liquid Fimo to fix the pearl. I have captured it well going around with polymer clay ropes. I have put the ring in the oven and once cooled down, I have painted it with black alcohol ink.
Although the entire ring is black, l love the texture of the ring. The contrast between the smooth pearl and the striped ring band works really well! Keep up with this very inspiring work! Cheers! ☺
Thank you very much for encouraging me! I must say the 31 days project is more difficult than I expected.
Difficult it may seem, but you are doing well so far! All the best to you, my friend! Happy Monday and cheers! ☺
During the first days, I was a little bit stressed. There were moments when I thought it would be too difficult. But now I am gaining confidence in myself and I am enjoying the ride! Thank you for encouraging me! Best wishes! Mihaela
Always a pleasure, my friend! Keep the fire burning! Cheers! ☺
